A Japanese carved ivory ''Actor''
A Japanese carved ivory ''Actor'' trick netsuke along with a Chinese carved ivory figure of a fisherman with a dog. The trick (or Karakuri) netsuke is black highlighted signed on base and mounted to a gold tone loop. One side of the face shows a young woman's face and the other a ugly gnarled face. Condition: Chinese fisherman is slightly coming off stand tip of fishing rod has broken off fish needs to be re-strung see images. Trick netsuke measures 2.4'' tall and fisherman measures 6'' tall to tip of rod. Shipping weight .5 lb.

Japanese ivory netsuke group. Includes carved ivory samurai carved ivory men riding a turtle and a netsuke depicting a woman with double gourd and horse. Woman with horse netsuke feels lighter than the other two is unsigned and cord hole does not pass all the way through. Men riding turtle and samurai are signed on base and have holes for cords. Condition: good see images. Samurai measures 2'' tall x 1.25'' wide. Men on turtle measures 1.5'' tall. Shipping weight .2 lbs.

FOUR JAPANESE CARVED WOOD NETSUKE AND ORNAMENTS Includes first a carved wood netsuke in shape of a rectangular demon (yokai) face with extremely broad mouth and revealed upper row of teeth, ornamental arranged wrinkles, bone or ivory set eyes, signature plate is broken out, second a small crouching man lifting a rock his facial expression is of intense concentration the muscle shows in his arms and his spine bones are evident on his lower back, two holes to underside, signature plate is broken out, third a carved wooden netsuke with a mouse seated on a cart eating the beautiful mushrooms being carried, and fourth is a small carved wooden ornament of two men clasping hands.
