2 MILITARY BOLT-ACTION RIFLES1st item: Carcano Italian Army Rifle, Model 1891/24 TS (Special Troops), 6.5mm, serial #TL8264. Sights are 300 meters and adjustable 600-1,500 meters. From 1924 to 1929 M1891 long rifles were converted into T.S. pattern carbines. Early models may have been drilled out and had new rifled tubes inserted, but most conversions just cut down the barrel and re-crowned. The cut down carbines ususally still have the longer rifle rear sight base. Stamped on the barrel near the bolt "TERNI 17 TL 8264". Barrel length - 18 1/2", Overall length - 36". Late 19th to early 20th century. 2nd item: Mossberg & Sons bolt action rifle, Model 42M-B .22, serial #17079. Comes with two magazine clip accessories along with strap attachments on bottom of forestock and buttstock. Breech stamped "United States Property, Serial No. 17079", barrel stamped "O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc, New Haven, Conn. U.S.A, 42M-B 22 S-L-LR". Stock behind hammer protrudes with green "S". Barrel length - 22 7/8", Overall length - 40 1/8". Firearms made after 1898 require passing an FFL background check prior to transfer. Please be prepared with proper identification. Early to mid 20th century.

Hammer mechanism is strong though set trigger needs adjusted. (set trigger fires gun). Barrel has good old dark patina. May have had a third sight at one time. 9 thru 10'' from muzzel is a lighter color. Also has a mounting bracket on upper tang. No visible numbers or lettering.

MODEL 1896/11 SCHMIDT-RUBIN WAFFENFABRIK INFANTRY RIFLE...Schmidt-Rubin 1896/11 straight pull rifle, with 30" barrel, 6 round magazine, graduated rear sight, blade front sight, rounded buttplate. Due to transitioning to a more powerful cartridge, beginning in 1913 the Model 1896 rifles were converted to 1896/11s by replacing or modifying the action and barrel, the sights, and the stock by grafting a wooden pistol grip. Matching serial number "313274" on barrel, receiver, bolt, and magazine; "274" on buttplate and trigger guard. Stock with added pistol grip and early serial number "26371" and "BERN". NOTE: Most firearms made after 1898 require passing an FFL background check prior to transfer. The date of production for this gun makes it subject to FFL rules. Please be prepared with proper identification and information. If you do not reside in Tennessee, an FFL dealer in your state is required to complete the transfer.

Model 1863 Springfield Rifled-Musket Type 1 .58 cal. 40'' round barrel dated 1863 on the top of tang and on the lockplate. Walnut stock with three barrel bands. Condition: Barrel has a grey look with some light oxidation and pitting build up on the top of the barrel. Lock has a mottled grey look with some pitting on the top of hammer. Wood is excellent with a nice dark look and two faint cartouches. Bore is excellent. Has a correct bridle leather sling with single eye and single neck hook.

SPRINGFIELD RIFLE-MUSKET 1863. Type I .58 caliber 40'' round barrel and darkly stained wood stock. Barrel is marked ''1863'' in front of tang and ''V ''over ''P'' just left of tang on barrel. Behind hammer on lock plate marked ''1863''. U.S. Springfield and eagle stamped in front of hammer. Eagle is also stamped on the breech plug. Stock has dings scratches and discoloration which is consistent with age. Bore shows light rust. Hammer lock and trigger mechanism are strong. Parts look original.
