Unmarked. 4 3/4" x 6" x 2 1/2". An old, typed card inside reads "Very rare piece of Rose Medallion work. The rose medallion china of China is old. They began making it 2000 years ago and it was made for years till during the Sino-Japanese War the kilns were destroyed. Boys are so precious to the Chinese heart that they are the joy of the mother and her symbol of security. Often a mother nurses her cherished son till he is three or four years old. Willed to Polly".
