Pietro Annigoni (Italian 1910-1988) watercolour 'Haigh Wykcombe' monogrammed dated VII-LIII and inscribed 12.5 x 20.5in. Estimate ?400-600 Watercolour on buff coloured paper possibly a little faded but still retaining greens and reds some slight fox marking across the work though hard to tell as the paper includes coloured flecking. Title inscribed along with initials and dating High Wycombe with an unusual no doubt Italian version of the correct spelling. In a stepped green card mount and silvered wooden frame. Provenance: The Pheasantry Club London. Brown spot in main photo is a shadow and not on the image. True colour is something between the first and last photos.
