This is a fine white china plate with a raspberry ground color and soft yellow with gold gilt rim accents. This is an Imperial Crown Austria bowl plate and is further embellished with a hand painted central garden scene depicting a female maiden figure surrounded by trees and spring floral branches while playing with flying colorful butterflies. Marked with "Imperial Crown China Austria"mark and is numbered 37.

Mayers Sohne...Wien. L3 3/4'' Provenance: Hartsville South Carolina private collection. Medal appears to be in good original condition with minor rubbing to medal under crown; ribbon with some staining and minor wear on verso; box with normal wear consistent with age. May be slight enamel loss to the white portion above the clasping hands. Medal is marked on ring under ribbon.
