A Famille Jaune Footed Bowl Hexagonal shape shallow bowl atop a round waisted base apprx. 7-1/8" x 7-1/8" x 2"H with gilt rim vivid yellow-green border with blue and red will painted scattering of images in the well on white background sprays of pink flowers on the outside blue and red key fret design around the base iron red mark on the underside. Images include root vegetables bats strawberries poppy pods etc. delicately painted in polychrome enamels. Probably Qing era 19th century.

IMPERIAL STYLE YELLOW CUPS; MANDARIN PALETTE VASES1st group: 3 Chinese Imperial Style Yellow Cups or beakers, tall cylindrical form, decorated with green dragons chasing flaming pearls amid clouds. Apocryphal K'ang Hsi marks incised to underside of 2 cups, one cup with with green leaf design incised and painted on underside. All 4-1/2"H. Republic Period. 2nd group: Pair of Chinese Export Mandarin Palette covered vases, flattened baluster form with enameled scenes of figures in an emperor or official's chamber. Applied dragon form handles and foo dog finials to lids. Apocryphal Ch'ien Lung marks to undersides. 20th century. Provenance: the estate of Anne M. Johnson, Nashville, Tennessee.
Condition:
1st group: One tall cup with leaf design to bottom has hairlines on bottom. 2nd group: Stubborn scotch tape residue to neck of one. Possible overpaint to other.
