A SETH THOMAS KITCHEN CLOCK WITH U.S. CAPITOLThe carved oak 8-day clock from the Seth Thomas Capitol Series of mantel clocks is found with a chromolithograph reverse bonded on glass depicting the U.S. Capitol Building on the glass door, signed Seth Thomas on the dial, original paper labels inside, retailer's label notes the sale date as March 30, 1918.Measures 23 x 15 x 4.5 inches.Very good condition intact condition, noting some chips and cracks in the oak case and some light toning on the dial. The running condition is unknown.

He was featured in numerous exhibitions such as the National Academy of Design, Philadelphia Centennial, and the Boston Art Club with his works in the Oakland Museum, Metropolitan Museum, Rhode Island School of Design, the New York Public Library, and many more.

THREE SMALL AMERICAN WESTERN BRONZE SCULPTURES Three small American Western bronze sculptures comprising, a Cynthia Rigden (American 1943-2018), "I'm Something Special", undated, sculpture of a standing horse, signed in the mold, on wooden base, a Cindy Burleson (American b. 1958), "High In The Oaks", undated, sculpture depicting an owl on a tree branch, signed and numbered 29 of 30 in mold, on wooden base, and a R. Hand (Likely American, 20th century), untitled, 1985, sculpture depicting a group of galloping horses, signed in mold and numbered 11 of 25, on wooden base. William Woodward (American/New Orleans 1859-1939) "Oak Park on Back Bay Biloxi" oil on canvas board signed and dated "'31" lower left pencil titled and inscribed en verso 9 7/8 in. x 13 5/8 in. in a period Arts and Crafts frame. Provenance: Biloxi Mississippi Estate descended in the family. Note: In 1927 William Woodward purchased a piece of land in the Oak Park Subdivision of Biloxi where he built an English-style cottage a studio and a gallery that was known locally as "The Studio." In 1931 Woodward purchased the lot adjacent to his studio home. This land was the inspiration for the lush painterly landscape of "Oak Park." Reference: Hinckley Robert ed.
