Late 19th/Early 20th century. 3rd item: Chinese dagger with stainless steal blade incised with Chinese characters, stars, moons, crosshatching, inscribed "1919". With a brass scabbard and grip decorated with a dragon, phoenix, basket of flowers, and landscape. With a brass clip and leather strap on the reverse side. Condition: 1st & 2nd items: One box with losses to lid edge and scattered minor losses to applied decoration, primarily to the lid and repaired break to the base. The other box missing one side panel and part of the base, minor scattered losses to applied decoration, primarily to lid. Both with overall wear and minor abrasions. 3rd & 4th items: Both items in overall good condition with slight oxidation to blades.
