INUIT CARVING, TWO FIGURES, NUNAVIK (ARCTIC QC)An unidentified Artist, Nunavik (Arctic Quebec). Two Figures (Man and Woman), c. 1970s, lengthy syllabic inscription. The work probably illustrates a legend or story, which is described in some detail in the syllabic inscription; unfortunately, it was not possible to distinguish an artist’s signature amongst the various syllabics; it is certainly the work of an accomplished and imaginative artist. 10" height x 8" width x 8" depth.
