Fiske cast iron and zinc garden fountain, ca. 1875 , the central column adorned with large putti figures under a bowl with lion masks and putti figures with shells, a large central cornucopia supported by putti figures with fishtail feet with goddess figure holding an ewer and goblet, 15' h., 6' dia. This item is not available for preview at Pook & Pook's gallery. It must be picked up in Roseboom, New York within 30 days of the day of the auction. Condition: As found condition. One of the putti on the stem has been recast. The gray paint was added as a primer to keep the fountain from rusting. Internal plumbing has been replaced by an antique cast iron restoration specialist. Comes apart for transport into six pieces. Unknown where it was originally installed, but is believed to have been in a traffic circle in the center of a town in New Hampshire. This item is being sold as is, where is.
