PERSIAN JAMBIYA DAGGER, JEWELED IVORY HANDLEAntique 19th century dagger with ornate Damascus blade, ivory handle, and gold-mounted ruby cabochon and faceted emeralds -- gems electronically tested. Blade does not appear ever to have been given a ground edge. Ricasso marked on one side with "Houllier Blanchard Paris." Blanchard was active up until the 1870s primarily in the manufacturing of firearms. Very fine condition, with no issues. Measures about 12" long overall. No sheath.
