JAMES JACQUES JOSEPH TISSOT, ETCHINGTitled L'été (Summer), a drypoint etching by Tissot (French, 1836-1902) of Kathleen Newton holding a parasol. Signed and dated 1878 in the plate, lower right. Measures 14-3/4" x 8" visible, matted and framed to 21" x 17". Fine condition, with minimal toning. Information written on verso, along with clippings from art reference guides, indicates that the paper has a watermark in the center.
