TWO J. B. OWENS POTTERY UTOPIA LINE VASES Circa 1900, the first has a broad pillow style base rising to long slim neck, hand-inscribed on the bottom "Sunburst / J.B. Owens / 155 / H.H.", signed on the vase "S.T." (Hugo Herb and Sarah Timberlake); the second is a bud vase decorated with a cat stamped on the underside "UTOPIAN J.B.OWENS" and shape 817 (8 in.) (underside rim chip; some glittering kiln debris near base).
