Porcelain mantel clock by Jacob petit features in a light blue ground color, decorated along the center bottom with courting couple scene signed "Petit". The sides and top of the clock are garnished by floral vine applications. The center features a white porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and gilt bronze hands, accented with floral motifs. Marked "Made in France and additionally marked on the movement "France".
