Finefrock Charleston South Carolina. Other Notes: The bookplate is listed in the Franks Bookplate Collection in the British Museum no. 14466 and was for Sir Robert Henley created Baron Henley 1760 and Viscount Henley and Earl Northington 1764. As this bookplate shows the arms with a baron's coronet it must date to between 1760 and 1764. Binding with considerable insect damage; spine intact; Frontis mended and reinforced; MAP OF EAST INDIES repaired at bottom; NEW MAP OF MUSCOVY tacked-in reinforced and extensively repaired; MAP OF WOLGA with losses and extensive repairs; end pages with warping to paper; pages tight and obviously recently re-bound; normal toning and discoloration to pages consistent with age.
