Height: 12 inches. The vase is in very good condition with light wear throughout a small amount of gilding loss and no visible chips or repairs.

Supported by three small triangular feet, the short and wide teapot is decorated with raised small flower design on beige crazed glaze. Wire with woven bamboo arched handle through two vertical loops. Signed on the base. The vase has rounded foot and tall square body with relatively flat shoulder, then a rounded flared mouth with flat rim. Background glaze is crazed beige glaze with each side displaying a raised traditional figure. A Satsuma Peacock and Bamboo Lidded Jar Meiji The pottery ginger jar shape has a domed lid with a pointed finial overall apprx. 8-1/2"H. It is signed "Fuzan painter" on the underside decorated with a band depicting flowers and bamboo around the middle with Gosu blue above and below with tiny flowers and geometric border designs. Picked out in gilt throughout.
