A Japanese Studio Pottery Vase 20th Century The earthenware vase has a slightly teardrop shape on a 1/2" foot with a squared edge at the shoulder and a slightly flaring lip apprx. 10-1/4"H incised with the potter's signature on the underside. Mottled matte glaze in pale aqua with deeply incised geometric designs on one side of the body variegated color glaze in the center of the carved design. Overall apprx. 10-1/4"H.

Small fragment of red on the underside may have been a wax seal; otherwise unmarked. Apprx. 9-1/2"H x 8-1/2"D.
