JOHN E. HUSZER FISHING PORTRAIT PAINTING Rhode Island,1912-1983Depicts an older man and a young blond boy in a striped shirt in a boat with fishing poles and a basket of fish. Huszer studied at the National Academy of Design and the Arts Students League in New York, later moving to New England to teach art. He is credited as being the founder of the Wickford Art Festival in Wickford, Rhode Island, an event that is still held yearly.
