Purchased by consignor from great- or great-great-grandson of Commodore Pierpont Morgan who was said to have purchased the model from an estate sale of a Vanderbilt Home in New England.

Master of the vessel was Capt. Zemira Kendrick. She weighed 455 tons and was 130 ft long. 12" high, 60" overall length. 55" half hull length.
