Photograph of Prince Albert of England dressed in uniform taken at the start of World War I. The second son of George V Albert took the regnal name George when he became king at the abdication of his brother Edward VIII in 1936. Signature and date Albert / September 1914 on mount. 8 x 5.125 in. print mounted to 11.75 x 8.25 in. card. Condition: Soiling to mount else very good. Image with great clarity.
