(2) MISC. KNIVES IN LEATHER SCABBARDS A lot of two different knives, likely of Middle Eastern origin. The first is a single edged 12" blade with crude engravings and a relief carving of a four-legged animal near the base, possibly a horse. It is mounted to a silver handle with shell inlay. It is in overall fair condition with heavy surface rust and a few knicks to the blade. The second is a double-edged 11" dagger with a brass and carved horn handle. It is far simpler in its design and is in overall fair condition some gouges and numerous knicks and chips along one edge.

A Group of Two Japanese Blades comprising one short blade having double hi line with undecorated tsuba and stippled fushi and kashira with gilt dragon menuki and ray skin wrapped grip the second with longer blade having single hi and having tsuba with quatrefoil cartouches containing fan form floral decorated cartouches with mixed metal and inlaid kashira and ray skin grip lacking menuki both with wood scabbards. Length of nagasa 14 1/2 and 19 1/4 inches.
