13 JAPANESE PORCELAIN KUTANI ARTICLESearly to mid 20th century, comprising: ten circular plates with scalloped rim, depicting flowers and phoenixes in cartouches within a scrolling foliate ground, cloud border, triple blue ring in underglaze blue to base, 7 in.; two bowls, one with gilt painted butterflies on a black ground, Kutani mark to base, 4 x 6-1/8 in., the other centered with figures in a landscape within gilt borders, phoenix and leaf decoration to the exterior, Kutani mark to base, 2-3/4 x 6-1/4 in.; footed urn having fish and figural decoration, Taisho period mark to base, 6-1/4 x 7 in.
