A Labino Studio Glass Vase A simple rounded vase form with a circular opening at the top in a deep ruby opaque and clear blown glass engraved on the underside with "Labino Studio" and "Baker 1988" apprx. 5-3/4"H x 4-1/2"D. Dominick Labino (American 1910-1987) an internationally-known scientist inventor artist and master craftsman in glass. Labino's art works in glass are in the permanent collections of more than 100 museums throughout the world. Labino held over 60 glass-oriented patents in the United States. This piece from his estate signed posthumously in his studio.

Cesare Lapini (Italian 1848-1893) Italian Maiden Marble signed at base of sculpture with inscription Galleria Frat: Lapini Firenze (translated Brothers Gallery: Lapini Florence) and also includes a green marble pedestal; marble ht. 43 in. marble and pedestal ht. 77 in. Condition: The sculpture has several small little cracks with associated discoloration throughout. Also two large hairline cracks each about 6" long. One is located across the chest and the other is on the upper thigh. The stand has several cracks on the top part and several chips at the bottom of the central column.
