An Artist Signed Glazed Porcelain
An Artist Signed Glazed Porcelain and Gilt Metal Lamp The urn-shape lamp stands on a gilt metal base with a laurel leaf motif. The waist and cap are also gilt metal as are the two grotesque masks with goat horns on either side of the body. The porcelain elements are hand decorated with romantic figures in a landscape on one side and a pretty maiden on the opposing side; with borders of flowers and gilt flourishes at the top and at the bottom edges. Overall the lamp measures approx. 30-1/2"H. The porcelain is signed "G. Poilevin".
