[The Holy Evangelion of Our Lord Jesus Christ] , Kiev: Kiev Pechersk Lavra printery, 1897. 12mo (175 x 140 mm). Wooden cover, elaborate metal binding featuring chased images of Resurrection of Jesus and four Evangelists in the corners on the front, an oval medallion with the Holy Trinity on the back, machine-turned ornamental design on the spine. Printed in red and black ink; illustrated with four color and gilt plates depicting each of the four Evangelists in the beginning of the corresponding Gospels. Text in Church Slavonic.
