Brownish-black patina, later casting. Erroneously marked "P. MANSHIP / ROMAN BRONZE WORKS NY" to the left of the base. A colleague of Paul Manship, Wheeler Williams was an internationally celebrated artist in his own right, whose public works may be found in cities including Chicago and Philadephia. Condition Good condition, noting some mild oxidation.
