Four pieces Stiegel-type glass: flip with tapered body, pontil scar, enameled "Liberty is the best in the world, 1802", 5-3/4 in., good condition ; mug, 5-1/4 in., crack the length of one side near handle, otherwise good condition ; tapered tumbler, floral and bird decoration, 3-7/8 in., 4 in. base crack ; shot glass, "vat 1750", 2-1/2 in., rim chips with related cracks , all with enamel floral decoration, pontil scar on bases, probably Bohemian, late 18th/early 19th century. All with base wear. All but tumbler descended from the Landquist family, related to the Pfohl family of Salem, North Carolina; Deaccessioned from MESDA and Old Salem to benefit the Acquisition Fund.
