According to Wikipedia, characteristics of this style of wrestling include competitors wearing colorful masks, sequences of holds which often include high-flying maneuvers, and so on. In July of 2018, Mexican lucha libre was declared "an intangible cultural heritage of Mexico City." It has also been said that in pieces such as this, Lozano is looking at contemporary life and the disintegration of the traditional family. His use of the masks symbolize the "...anonymous, downtrodden masses or 'the plight' of everyman' because they rob the wearer's individuality." https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1995-07-08-ca-21525-story.html Color screenprint on paper Dimensions: Image: 33.5" H x 26.25" W; Sheet: 39" H x 30" W
