LONE STAR QUILT"Lone Star" or "Star
LONE STAR QUILT"Lone Star" or "Star of Texas" pattern pieced and appliqued quilt, hand stitched in pastel shades on purple background with pink backing. 88" x 72" Circa 1900. Provenance: descended in a longtime Middle Tennessee family; one member of the family practiced law for a period of time in Texas.
Condition:
A few scattered small stains to front, 1/2" or smaller (2 are dark); green fabric has very light color run onto surrounding yellow fabric in a few areas; back has some scattered small or light stains. Overall good condition.
