LONG CASE CLOCK. Signed for
LONG CASE CLOCK. Signed for James Gray Denny Scotland 2nd quarter-19th century mahogany and pine. Broken-arch pediment over a case veneered in highly figured mahogany and inlaid with dark wood; the dial decorated with domestic scenes in the dial arch and spandrels. Imperfections. 88 1/2''h. 18''w. 8 1/2''d. Refinished some touchup to the dial replaced feet and minor veneer loss.

ENGLISH GEORGIAN TALL CASE CLOCK. Late 18th century, mahogany with pine secondary. Brass works, and face inscribed "B. Barlow, Oldham" and "Time Flies". Phase of the moon dial with original paint and a lake cottage scene. Broken arch pediment with brass rosettes, replaced eagle finial, and Corinthian capitals on fluted columns. Case has rope twist quarter columns, bracket feet and inlaid shell medallions. Refinished, painted dial has flaking. With key, weights and pendulum. 92"h.

Rich mahogany wood with blond wood banding in areas and on hood which has the original glass. Panel door front has attached letter from Airdrie. The case does not rest on feet sits directly flat.
