Condition:
The mechanisms seem to be in order save for the moon, which does not orbit likely as a result of a missing string mechanism.

The rider's body and head are naively carved while the articulated arms and legs are in tin; the back wheel is a fixed solid disc and the large front wheel is a hand-cut, multi-blade fan. Mounted on the original wooden arrow and with the tin tail still intact. Great weathered surface with some original yellow paint on the body. Early 20th century. H: 26"; L: 24". Field Collection.
