Sight; height: 2 1/4 in x width: 2 1/4 in. Matted; height: 8 3/4 in x width: 5 1/2 in.
Condition:
The transparency is in fair condition with no tears, creases or losses. The colors are bold and bright when lit. There is an approx. 3/4 inch long possibly chemical stain or residue to the surface of the transparency along the upper center that is russet-colored; visible in the lot listing. There are three smaller areas where the photograph appears cloudy, possibly also a chemical stain or residue, along the upper left and right corners and the lower left corner. Not inspected out of frame. The card frame is in excellent condition with no tears, creases, or losses.

NASA FLOWN FILM FRAGMENTS A-13 - MAG. II, JJ, & RCollection of three flown film fragments from the lunar surface, filmed during the Apollo 13 mission. Affixed to a certificate of authenticity; numbered 6/30.
These fragments are from the collection of Dick Underwood and are from film magazines II, JJ, and R. Dick Underwood, a NASA Supervisory Aerospace Technologist, assisted in acquiring camera equipment including the Hasselblad 70mm camera used for many early missions. He processed the films and salvaged the leaders and tails from each roll of flown film. The segments are from film used to document the mission including serious damage to the service module, the improvised adaption of the LiOH canister in the LM, the flyby of the moon, and the jettisoning of the Lunar Module (lifeboat).
Each film; height: 1/2 in x width: 1/2 in.
Condition:
The item is in great condition with no visible tears, creases, or losses. The film fragments are kept intact under the transparent tape. There are no tears or other visible damage to the paper. When inspected under UV light, there is no visible sign of restoration.

Grumman and NASA logos in vibrant color under the acrylic or lucite base (measures 10-1/4" diameter). The two-piece model is removable from the base and measures about 6" tall and 10" wide.
