RARE JIMMY LILE DUXBAK 100 FIXEDRARE JIMMY LILE DUXBAK 100 FIXED BLADE KNIFEIn 1969 Duxbak commissioned Jimmy Lile to produce the first in a series of limited edition general purpose knives to be offered by Utica Duxbak. The Big 7 style from Lile was chosen and designated the Duxbak 100. This general purpose knife is a limited edition #470/500 in D2 high carbon steel with engraved blade: "Hand Made by James B. Lile / Duxbak, Style 100, 470 of 500." Handle is Osage Orange wood with brass fixtures. Round brass Duxbak logo is inlayed on one side of the handle. Blade measures 3 7/8". Overall length is 8 1/2". Tang is tapered and wrist thong is added to the butt of handle. The knife is in excellent condition with no signs of use. Brass has some spots where oil or grease was touching. Leather ambidextrous sheath has normal wear/scratches/stains, no tears or cracks. The box appears to be original however the serial number on the outside is hand marked 487 of 500. Advertising sheet, registration/warranty card (not filled out) is also in the box. The box is has stains, creases and a tear along one side and corner.
