M1 COMBAT HELMETWWII U.S. Military M1 helmet with fiberglass suspension assembly for ground troops liner features a fixed bale and rolled front seam brim and was produced between April 1941 to November 1944 after which time the seam was moved to the rear of all M1 helmets. The M1 helmet measures approximately 7-3/4" tall and 11-1/8" wide from front to back. Helmet shell has no discernible markings, ground troops liner marked. In combat used condition.
