This poster was the property of John Robinson, born in Maynard, north of Prescott, who became a painter and paper hanger around 1860. This poster was loaned by the Robinson family to the Grenville Historical Society for its Centennial Confederation celebration (stamped with Historical Society mark). To be sold with 2 notices printed by Robinson offering a reward against damage to any of his poster / bill hangings. In good condition and strong colours as it has been stored in a hand soldered tin tube. Ex Lawless collection. Dimensions, 42" x 28". FRANCAIS: Affiche de John A.
