Number 79 from an unstated deluxe and limited edition, with frontispiece of Goldston, and ten tipped-in photographs, including images of Houdini, DeBierre, Chung Ling Soo and De Kolta. 4to. Cloth darkened, minor bubbling, but fine overall. Nice copy. Considered the fourth part of the Magical Secrets series published by Goldston although it was issued without a lock.

With a 1905 letter, in blue pencil, from Thayer to A. Roterberg, originally enclosing money for a card trick. Light wear to covers; very good.

No magnets or wires. Hand can be picked up and shown to astounded audience members. Circa 1930s. Board measures 18" x 11-1/4". Hand measures 9" long. Original velvet around wrist, with lace cuff. Some minor paint loss, not repainted or restored in any way. Very fine condition. Mechanism works well and smoothly. From the estate of a 90-year-old retired professional stage magician.
