With 17th & early 18th-Century ms. family records on front blank. Long reputed to be the oldest "family" Bible in Pennsylvania. Haesler family tradition holds that a member of the family obtained this copy at or close to the date of its printing & subsequently brought it to Pennsylvania. An early 20th-Century ms. family account of this copy's history tipped-in on 4 folio sheets.
