A Rare Edition of "Etre Dieu" Opera by Salvador Dali Barcelona Spain dated 1985 Consisting of three parts: a volume bound in royal blue moiré silk all edges gilt apprx. 12" x 12". Color lithograph with blind stamp of Dali's 1972 self portrait image of the face of Marilyn Monroe with the head of Mao Tse Tung apprx. 12" x 12" housed in pocket within matching moiré silk portfolio. 3 phonograph records each housed in a gold paper slip glassine paper protecting the records housed in a pocket within matching moiré silk case. Libretto by Manuel Vazquez Montalban. Music by Igor Wakhevitch. All three blue moiré silk volumes are housed within a two-part plastic gilt-decorated case. All pieces of the set are numbered in pencil 153/500 the case numbered the same in gilt.

Color woodcut on japon nacre paper, signed in pencil lower right, one of 80 woodcuts (79 woodcuts in black or in colors, some plates heightened with collage, plus 1 woodcut in colors for the cover) from the illustrated book "Á toute épreuve" by Paul Eluard, printed by Atelier Lacourière et Frélaut, Paris, published by Gérald Cramer, Geneva, floated against black layered mat in a gilt frame, overall 27" x 23 ½". This print is accompanied by a signed letter from Jacques Dupin dated April 23, 1993 certifying Miro's signature to be authentic. Translated from French, the letter states: "I certify that the 79 woodcuts of the suite on japan nacre paper from the book " Á toute épreuve", which were presented to me by Mr. Romand and which come from the collection of Jacques Frelaut, printer of the book, have the authentic signature of Joan Miro".
