Three American marine watercolors: each with three-masted sailing vessel; one in calm water with American flag and banner in reverse "J.C. Boynton" (an 18th century ship master, Maine); one in rough seas, partial sail; one in rough seas with torn sails, figures on yardarm, all signed lower right "W.C. Stuart 1857", watercolor on paper, American School, 19th century, 10 x 18-1/2 in.; matching 19th century gilt wood cushion style frames. All with yellowed varnish, toning, wavy paper, two with moisture damage and mildew; frames with abrasions.
