MARK TWAIN SIGNED LETTER TO RICHARD WATSON GILDER Mark Twain autographed letter signed and dated June 17, 1898 to Richard Watson Gilder (1844-1909). Sent from Kaltenleutgeben near Vienna, Austria where Twain lived for a half year. The letter references a correspondence he sent about a paragraph named "A Szczepanick Episode." This is in reference to Jan Szczepanick, a Polish inventor. The letter has excellent content is in written so that a page does not have to be turned. Signed ?Mark.?
