Ms. Barnes was a Hollywood film actress featured in movies such as "Auntie Mame (1958)" and "The Parent Trap (1961)". Mr. Warner was a prominent architect.

This mask is held up and the holder is covered with raffia to disguise and transform him into a supernatural being. Originally used used by the Do society at village dances to encourage a successful harvest. The painted geometric designs have symbolic meanings. The checkerboard pattern symbolizes the separation of light from dark male/female and good from evil. - h:66 w:10 d:3.50 in.
