  MATED FRENCH PAIR OF VICTORIAN DECORATIVE VASES CA. 1890 17 ¾" tall Artist signed, pear shaped porcelain vases. Iridescent glazes decorate the field. The applied gold trim raises above the surface (Relievo). Musical theme, with hand painted female forms, which appear to be an interpretation of Mousai (goddess of music) with accompanying putto. The reverse of the vases, feature a lute and sheet music on one, a tambourine and floral basket on the other.
