MAXFIELD FREDERICK PARRISH (1870-1966, NEWHampshire) graphite on paper drawing, the "Layout for Freeman's Farm, 1957". This work was a study for a painting of Freeman's Farm by Parrish. Sight size 14 1/2" x 19 1/2", overall with this modern frame 20" x 24 3/4". Vose Galleries label on verso; Vose appears to have handled part of the estate. Also a Maxwell Galleries label from San Francisco. Back of study, which is pictured in the listing, there is a confirmation from Maxfield Parrish Jr that this drawing is authentic, dated July 1974. Very minor foxing on the right side and foxing and discoloration along all the borders, but not visible under the mat. Unsigned.
