On the left side Edward Maynard Patent May 27 1851 Dec 6 1851. Walunt buttstock. Condition: All metal has a dark brown patina blending with some pitting. Bore is good will clean to better. Stock is dark with some nicks and dings. Tight action.

  Massachusetts Arms Percussion Pocket Revolver .28 cal. 3'' round barrel S/N 407. Maynard tape primer system; nickel finish with walnut grips. Condition: Revolver retaining 98% of the nickel plating. All markings are sharp. Grips have darkened with some light nicks and dings.

  Second Model Maynard Carbine .50 caliber 20'' octagonal-to-round barrel S/N 17675. Walnut stock. Condition: Barrel has turned to nice plum. Frame has turned a nice mottled brown. Sharp markings bore will clean to better. Buttstock has a small chip of wood out along side the left tang. Stock has two readable cartouches.
• MAYNARD SPORT CARBINE. This
  MAYNARD SPORT CARBINE. This model has a 20'' round to octagon style barrel in .40 caliber. Front sight flips from hood to ivory bead rear sight is a flip type deep ''V'. Marked on left side of frame ''Edward Maynard Patentee May 27 1851 Dec. 6 1859''. Beside this is stamped in larger font ''1873''. Below pistol grip ''1865'' and S/n. 24277 at base of lower tang. The checkered pistol grip is attached to the lever not the stock. Great rifleing in a clean chambered bore. Barrel retains some finish stock has some scratches and stains on varnish.

• U.S. MODEL 1816 REMINGTON MAYNARD
  U.S. MODEL 1816 REMINGTON MAYNARD CONVERSION MUSKET .69 caliber, 42 in. round barrel stamped "24" six inches in front of breech, the tang dated 1857; walnut stock with iron mounts; the Maynard tape primer is a prominent addition to the lockplate, which reads REMINGTON'S / ILION N.Y. / 1857/ U.S.; most hardware is stamped with the numeral "8"; an "R" is on the fore end of the trigger guard. Bayonet is included.

  CLEMENT AND NORRIS MODEL 1861 RIFLE-MUSKET. .58 caliber 40'' round barrel with three bands lock dated 1863 walnut stock. With bayonet and scabbard. Old finish on the stock moderate-heavy pitting at the breech damage to scabbard.

  WINCHESTER MDL. 62 PUMP-ACTION RIFLE, .22 LR A fine varmint rifle made by Winchester in the mid-1930s. The firearm features a round barrel fitted with a bead front post with a simple, elevation adjustable, U-notch rear sight. It is mounted in smooth walnut wood furniture with a corn-cob style front grip. The firearm is in overall great condition with only some minor finish wear commensurate with age as well as some minor dings to the stock. Rifling is in excellent condition with clear lanes and grooves. S/N: 28632A, Caliber: .22 LR, OAL: 39", BBL: 23"

Comes with bayonet. Bore has light corrosion is rifled action is strong. Barrel has steel-brown patina dings cartouced with Eagle head and ''P'' at breech end. Dark stock with dings and some loss in front of lock plate. Lower barrel band stamped 5. Upper tang marked 1857 I B 7. Lockplate marked Remington Illion N.Y. 1857 US. Upper tang of trigger guard stamped C.B. Bayonet stamped US. According to consignor carried by SamL. Alehouse.

Our consignor (the Hallock family) indicates that all of their guns are in working order but we cannot guarantee their functionality.

  U.S. Springfield percussion rifle Musket Model 1855 with bayonet NVSN. .58 caliber single shot muzzleloader round barrel fastened by three barrel bands. Cleanout screw on bolster. Iron mountings with brass forend cap. All metal parts finished bright. Steel ramrod with tulip-shaped end and swelled shank. Front sight doubles as lug for angular bayonet included. This is one of the earlier models with a long range rear sight with large leaf and was made without patchbox. Walnut fullstock. Lockplate marked: ''U.S. SPRINGFIELD'' with date stamped at rear of lock behind hammer. Eagle motif on tape primer compartment lid. Barrel marking at breech: V/P eaglehead. ''U.S.'' on tang of buttplate. Inspector initials on left side of stock opposite lock. overall L56'' barrel L40'' (2pcs) Other Notes: Made by the Springfield Armory circa 1857-1861. Total production was 47 115. This model proved to be one of the staple arms of the American Civil war and was the first U.S. Martial Arm designed to fire the Minie bullet in .58 caliber. Arsenal modified during the war to utilize the Maynard Tape Primer System which made loading and firing much faster.
