A GROUP OF JAPANESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN Meiji period (1868-1912), porcelain with stenciled pattern (katagamisurie) in cobalt blue, central decoration of pine, bamboo and plum (shochikubai) surrounded by a zigzag band design and thicker band of floral motifs, six kiln spur marks to underside, group includes six saucers (1 1/2 in., 6 in. diameter)(one with slight fritting to small area on rim) and one charger (11 1/4 in. diameter)(good estate condition).

Two Satsuma Porcelain Plates on Stands Late Meiji (1868-1912) Circular shape footed porcelain plate with serpentine border. Hand painted in polychrome with moriage and gilt designs and highlights throughout. One plate depicting an Empress with an attendant with embossed borders cartouche with a bird perching on a blooming flowers and blossoming peonies in a vase. The second plate depicting an Emperor with attendants with embossed borders an Empress with attendants in a lozenge shape cartouche and blooming peonies in a vase. Borders decorated with moriage. No marks found. Measures apprx. 1"T x 6-1/8"D.

Height: 12 inches. The vase is in very good condition with light wear throughout a small amount of gilding loss and no visible chips or repairs.
