CONDITION The figure is in very good condition. Scattered minor chipping to the applied wreath and grape leaves. Inspection under UV light shows repainting and restoration to the leafy wreath around Bacchus head.

Provenance: Estate of Ronald Sperling Literature: The sculptor and porcelain designer Dominik Auliczek (1734 - 1804) was born in Bohemia and employed for many years at Nymphenburg.
