MEISSEN PORCELAIN CHERUB SCULPTUREDESCRIPTION: An antique Meissen French figural porcelain sculpture. Features the depiction of a cherub holding a rose in one hand and a torch in the other. Further decorated with sunflower and bird accents. Finished with draped pink lining details and a gilt painted half sphere formed base. Crossed sword marking in blue underneath with impressed numbering.

Five Volkstedt Cherub Figurines Each cherub is standing on a mound base with a gilt band at the lower edge. Hand decorated in polychrome glazes depicting different poses; a Bacchante, listening to a conch shell, smelling a rose, stung by a rather large bee, and holding up an unknown object. They stand between 5-3/4" and 6"H and is marked in blue on the underside.
