MEISSEN FEMALE RECLINING NUDE PORCELAINDESCRIPTION: An antique Meissen porcelain figurine Model T 185 by Robert Ockelmann. The figurine depicts a female nude reclining on a chaise longue. A pair of magenta slippers is laid next to the chaise longue. The woman holds a mirror in left hand (missing). This figurine is marked with the blue Meissen underglaze sword mark and was designed by Robert Ockelmann (1849-1915). Ockelmann studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin (Germany) and was specialized in creation of genre and nude figures. The Model T 185 was created in the year 1903.
CIRCA: 1900-1909.
ORIGIN: Germany.
