Twelve Meissen (Royal Porcelain Manufactory) hand painted porcelain plates. Scalloped and gilt rims each decorated in the center with a still life fruit scene. Each plate is marked on base with the blue crossed swords under glaze. Condition: heavy wear to gilt rims on some no chips or cracks see images. Each measures 8.5'' wide. Shipping weight 6 lbs.

Meissen porcelain tea service: hand painted Asian figures in harbor scenes with boats, scrolled gilt cartouches on medium blue ground, all with blue crossed swords mark with rounded pommels, three pieces with one hash mark (sold as white and not decorated at factory), five pieces with two hash marks (slightly flawed), probably 19th century, 15 x 12-3/4 in. tray incised "D" and "194" and "a" over line, with matching 6-1/2 in. teapot, 4 in. lidded sugar, two 3 in. cups and two 5-1/8 in. cup plates, (eight pieces). One cup plate with large rim chip and related crack, minor chips to finials of lids, minor loss to painted and gilt decorations. Property of a Charleston, South Carolina Gentleman.
