  1962 MERCEDES 190SL CONVERTIBLE ROADSTER, SINGLE OWNER, 82,200 ORIG MILES, GARAGE KEPT! BLACK PAINT, RED LEATHER, HIGHLY DESIREABLE COLLECTOR'S CAR. The car was examined by a mechanic who specializes in vintage Mercedes. He changed the oil, filter, battery, anti-freeze, replaced the battery, filled with fresh gas, lubed the chassis, cleaned the plugs, checked all filters and fluid levels, and generally inspected the vehicle. In his opinion, the car has been through a basic restoration and is in very good to excellent condition. The floorboard on the driver's side has had repair to a rusted area. The rest of the body and frame shows vitually no signs of rust or collision damage/restoration. Brake system is recently replaced. The front end has been rebuilt. The car starts and runs well, the not-original carburetors should be taken apart and rebuilt. The red leather seats have been reupholstered. It could be characterized an an outstanding "driver" and a good candidate for a show quality restoration, with no apparent major issues to deal with!! Estimate $20,000-40,000

  1994 MERCEDES BENZ SL600 VIN: WDBFA76E1RF092375 Mileage: 100,000 with a 6.0 liter 48-valve DOHC V12 engine that produced 389 hp when new, and a four-speed automatic transmission. Designed in 1984, the R129 was based on the shortened floorpan of the Mercedes-Benz W124. Exterior in Polar White and Light Gray lower portion, with Royal Blue leather interior. Matching fabric convertible top is in excellent condition, with the rear window cloudy. The number of standard features was high, with electrically powered windows, mirrors, seats and hydraulic convertible top. It was the first car to feature integrated seatbelts in the seat. New for 1994 were: odometer switched from mechanical to electronic, option for portable cell phone with voice activated dialing (this car retains both), clear front turn signal indicators for US SPEC models, and Bose stereo now standard, with rear speakers and subwoofer. Chrome 17" five spoke AMG wheels have been added with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Painted brake calipers, and an AMG badge have been added. Heated seats, cruise control, and automatic climate control are some of the other options included.

Other Notes: This is a highly unusual low mileage Mercedes-Benz model. As a rule the ''SLC'' models tend to be of higher mileage than their sister ''SL'' models because they are used as regular cars rather than being just a ''fun'' car for a pleasant day out. In the early 1970's the Mercedes-Benz motor car lineup was missing a two-door coupe. Previously the coupes were based on the S-class sedan versions but at this time the S-class was not considered suitable for conversion. Mercedes designer Karl Wilfert prepared a study based on the C107 sports roadster which was to enter production in 1971. By extending the wheelbase room was found for three more seats in the back and the first of the SLC's was presented at the Paris Car Show in October 1971. The new sports car was noted for the comprehensive list of safety features incorporated in all of the different models. The SLC remained in production for 10 years and was phased out in 1981 with the introduction of the S-class Coupe type 500 SEC. During this time a total of 62 888 of the many different versions were built. The SLC became well known in the late 1970's when Mercedes-Benz decided to use this model extensively in international long distance rallye events. This particular vehicle is equipped with a 4.5 litre (275 ci) V8 producing 225 BHP providing 279 lb/ft of torque at 3 000 RPM. 0-62 MPH is reached in 8.8 seconds with a top speed of 134 MPH. Condition: The vehicle has been subject to re-paint. The interior is only particaly leather and after market MB-Text style. The mileage cannot be confirmed and could be higher. • 1959 Mercedes 220S coupe,
  1959 Mercedes 220S coupe, odometer showing 53,117 miles, a garage kept survivor in very good physical condition, mechanically will need a complete overhaul. This is one of only 3,429 coupes and cabriolet models built from 1956 to 1959 in this body style. It does start, though the gas tank is contaminated and it needs to be fed from an auxiliary fuel source. It was last inspected and tagged to run in 1987. It has been kept on a lift in a garage for about the last 5 years. The car has what appears to be the original red leather interior in fairly good condition. There is evidence of oil & fluid leaks under the car in various places, see photos. The condition of the hydrak system is unknown. The car has been not run for over 20 years and it is a safe bet that all of the mechanical parts of the car will have to be overhauled. The exterior and interior of the car is really quite good. There is very little evidence, really none, of any rust. The paint may be second coat of an original color. Original red leather interior is pretty good, as is the finish on the wood furnishings in the interior. It has been started and runs pretty smoothly. The brake cylinders are siezed and need to be rebuilt. It has a replacement PA VIN tag on the inside of the wheel well. It has no sunroof. The original tools are not there. It has the owner's manual, European Mercedes service station manual, Becker radio manual and warranty. On Wikipedia one finds "The Mercedes-Benz W180 is a 6-cylinder sedan, coupé, and convertible made from 1954 to 1959. The models associated with the W180 chassis code were the 220a and 220S. The latter has often been identified as the first E-Class, though Mercedes-Benz did not officially adopt the E-Class nameplate for its midsize line until 1984. The W180 was one in a series of Mercedes-Benz models to receive the "Ponton" moniker. This was in reference to the unibody-type, pontoon-shaped exterior styling which was also featured on the later W128 line.The 220a was succeeded in March, 1956 by the 220S, which was externally almost identical, except for an additional chrome strip running along the front fenders and doors, but had an upgraded version of the 2.2L inline-six (100 PS (99 hp/74 kW), later 106 PS (105 hp/78 kW)).In July, 1956 a Cabriolet (two doors, four seats) joined the line-up, in October, 1956 a Coupé version followed suit. Some Cabriolets were finished with folding rear seats to accommodate additional luggage.Until October, 1959, 55,279 220S saloons and 3,429 Cabriolets and Coupés were built. At that time, these models were replaced by fuel-injected 220SE versions that officially bore the model code W128.
